WTP international GmbH: exciting feature films, innovative methods

Roland Reber, founder and director at wtp international GmbH in Munich, often has demstrated that it's possible to create superior cinematics and theater with only lean measures. In the 90ties, after a long period in the world of theater, the today's film philosopher has founded and managed UNESCO project 'world theater project' and worked in Asia, Russia, Mexico and the Caribbean as well as in many european countries. In 1999 he founded wtp in Munich and since then he and his team convinced again and again despite of the fact (or because of) that wtp as a basic principle always works without any official film promotion and without any film funds and other external financers. Reber wrote numerous theater plays and screenplays and won six international cinema awards. He has been (and still is ) jury member at various film festivals and offically represents two international film festivals.

From the beginning Reber extensively used digital technology for his film projects which lead to significant decreasing of production costs and huge improvements of flexibility. In combination with creativity of him and his core team of producers and impressively skilled actors Mira Gittner, Marina Anna Eich, Ute Meisenheimer, Claire Plaut, Patricia Koch, Antje Mönning this leads to sensational results. As many of Reber's films, the new feature film 'Loneliness never walks alone' (german title 'Die Einsamkeit ist nie allein') is about quarreling of consciousness and subconsciousness of human beings. The feature starts in german cinemas at 13.03.2008.

While major players in the entertainment industry often lament how difficult it was to find new and inspiring issues and products to attract the target groups and how expensive it was to produce successful features, Reber and wtp prove that guts and spiritedness pay off. Markets as well as societies in general get more and more fragmented. Opportunities for artists and entrepreneurs significantly grow from there.
